clutch stuck tsb?

I took mine to a local shop and the guy there says there is a TSB for this issue, it a problem with the throw out bearing. Im in the process of finding this TSB and ill go at them hard to get fixed. The bearing is too short.

I'm all over the place and I haven't heard of such a TSB. Try flushing the clutch fluid first:

Had the clutch pedal stick to the floor a few times on my '06 G35 and the dealership replaced the clutch master cylinder. I believe I saw a TSB for '07 G35 Coupes for faulty clutch master cylinders, so you might try to leverage that. I also don't think they were able to replicate the problem, as it would only happen very rarely, usually when the engine was really hot. It was also not boiling the brake fluid, as it felt perfectly fine once I could pry the clutch off the floor.

It completely fixed my problem.

ya i replaced my clutch master car my car was doing the same car is fine now i guess the seals go bad

Just to make sure that I'm having the same problem as you guys. After I have been driving a while, the clutch seems to stick about 2 inches from the top. When it is stuck there, the clutch is fully engaged though. I can pop the pedal up with my foot, but it feels like it isn't doing anything until I push it down about 2 inches. I saw another thread about lubing up the spring and pivot pin, so I'm going to try that. I just wanted to make sure you all were having the same problem before I started flushing the clutch MS fluid.

I have an o5 6mt as well...When mine sticks it isn't engaged. The engage point shifts closer to the floor when it sticks.

For what it’s worth, I think mine is fixed. I used the empty reservoir, fill, pump, repeat method until the oil in the reservoir was the same color as new stuff. I also lubed up the two pivot pins on the clutch pedal with white lithium. I put on lots of city miles, and it feels better than it did when I bought the car. The car is way more enjoyable to drive now.

Thanks to everyone who has posted info on this. I have been driving stick shifts pretty much since I learned to drive, and I have never thought to change the clutch fluid.

As a side note, I now know that I didn’t forget how to drive a stick, and that the G35 isn’t really hard to drive right. Pretty much since I got the car a couple months ago, I have been struggling off and on to get smooth take offs and gear shifts. It’s amazing what a consistent clutch pedal will do for you.

i had this problem today. got int he car in the morning and when i started driving, the clutch would get stuck less than halfway all the way down. after driving 20miles on freeway, i could barely change gears. GOOD THING I decided to go to MachIII since I was passing by it. Wally@machiii had one of his workmen inspect my vehicle and found out that my clutch fluid resevoir was empty and DRY. filled up with brake fluid and it went back to normal...seems like I have a leak somewhere. where could it be?7
