Remedy for Check Engine Soon Indicator
Remedy for Check Engine Soon Indicator
Does anyone have a solution for this? I've ensured the gas cap was on tight and all else appears to be fine. The light showed up after I dicovered the engine had no oil in it at all, 2nd time this occurred. I filled the engine with 5 quarts of oil and drove it for approx. an hour and the light disappeared however now its back and and it stays on. Per the owners manual this is an emissions error. Also, can the cabin filter be replaced by a DIY pretty easily? The dealer says it's a $39 filter which costs $100 to install since the dash has to be removed
There is absolutely no way an engine would burn 5 litres of oil, even with the worst oil consumption problem ever if the engine is the older rev-up. I'd suggest checking the drain plugs in the oil pans.
