Unichip will NOT fit some sedans

With something like this I am more into tune and leave alone. I like to keep it safe. Plus my good friend owns UMS tuning and is a unichip tuner. But yes I would rather have the UTEC because it is a better part, also more $$$. Hell I would like to have the HKS stand alone if price was not an issue.

AAAAAAAAAAAAH I'm still sooo pissed. I don't even feel like modding the car anymore, I'm that mad. The chip was supposed to unleash my mods, and now I'm stuck! After all that anticipation, I can't do anything. I really don't want to do a TS reflash, because I think it's totally not worth it; it'll cost the same as a Unichip, but you won't have anything to sell when you're done with it, and the reflash is only good for the mods you have... so it's pointless if I want to keep on modding. F\/CK! What should I do?
End of rant.

I duno what a split seconf box is, and don't know anything about the Greddy.
What about UTEC, is it same concept as Unichip? In the pics, I didn't see it being use with the ECU harness, or maybe they just didn't show the harness, only the chip.

Split second is just another tuner company. Their box comes with the Stillen SC, Vortech SC and JWT TT kits. Greddy comes with their TT kit.
I recall the UTEC comes with plugs like the Unichip.

Split second box is just a maf interceptor type a/f changer. Similar to a SAFC. Greddy Emanage might be a decent alternative. Features a/f and ign changes and should have the type 1 harness adaptor that we need. But the Emanage is more an user tuner type device vs a upload program file type device. Same with the UTEC.

They are not plug-and-play but will work.

My SS box also does ignition changes. Why on earth would Jim Wolf use one on what in my opinion is the best TT kit for the VQ if it was not capable of some decent tuning? Don't get me wrong, it's far from the best but a good deal and capable of more than you are giving it credit for.
As for the harness for the Greddy, you would have to find an autosport type harness for the type 1 to use it without cutting.

I guess it depends on what ss box you get. Can you explain which model you have and how it's user adjustable? Thanks
And yes, the Greddy utilizes an autosport harness. But it's plug and play nevertheless.
