well, there were some contributing factors - they tried 3 times first, one try right after another, and it kept downshifting - so the engine was pretty heat-soaked. also, this was just after a spark plug change, so an ECU reset may have been necessary, just in case. in any case, it wouldn't have been more than 230rwhp, which is still hella low.

You are correct about the early 03 G35 sedans having a different set of
ecu
connectors. We do not carry those connector parts.

If you would like to email a picture of your ecu connector, I can take
a
look to verify which parts you have on your car.
