i'm not selling yet - a few more months... i am moving in with my girlfriend, and will be super-busy until new year's. then - we'll see. i have the money. it's the matter of committing to selling the car that i'll take my sweet time with.

No way! The G is an awesome car and still a better deal than a 335.

Just do a vortech, stillen, greddy or jwt FI kit.

^^^ ... and pop pop poppity pop the engine. you know it's gonna happen sooner or later. and if you try to sell the car with those mods on, no one will pay for a modded sedan any more than it's worth unmodded, so your mods are gonna be worthless.

Nah I know the G is like the best bang for the buck. I'm hoping for that AccessPORT, any clue how it connects? Please tell me not the same way, through the same harness.

I keep all my stock parts. When I sell the car, it'll be brought completely back to stock.. except for like tint, and some color matching.

good thing you're doing that. i made a mistake of basically throwing away most of my stock parts ("****, i'll never go back to stock!") - big mistake.

Yeah I sold a lot of my stock parts. I will offer most of my stuff up on here when I sell my car and ask for stock parts in exchange. We'll see how it turns out when the time comes. Either way it was fun!

What numbers your car put down are meaningless. This is why testing at a track is so much more effective. Some dynos read really low and some read really high, but when you look at the 1/4 mile numbers of G35s and 350Zs you'd see proof that there are no duds. The differences in performance numbers come down to three common things:

1) Driver ability
2) Conditions
3) Mods

My friend's 03 G sedan 5AT put down 210whp with a plastic plenum (forget the make) and it didn't stop him from running a low 14.5@98mph. And he weighs nearly 300lbs, had a sub in the back, and spare. With me driving and the weight out of the back, I'm certain that car would be in the low 14.3s@99mph which is above average in terms of ET and MPH. Hell his 14.5@98mph is slightly above average.

I'm curious as to why the G/Z crowd doesn't use the Apexi SAFC? The VQ35 Maxima and Altima crowd seem to squeeze out 8-10whp with the $350 SAFC and tuning here as the G/Z crowd assumes the $800-1,200 piggyback ECUs must be better for NA yet they see the same gains. I don't understand it.

Dave, i'm not saying that my car wasn't more fun to drive - it was, and it still is, even with a short list of mods i have. last time i G-Tech'ed it, i pulled 5.7sec 0-60. which is way better than 6.1-6.2sec i pulled when she was stock. it's just not enough anymore.

I agree 100% on the dyno comment, I was just surprised to see one that low with those mods. It's uncommon.
