Bump...

Any word on Uprev and your 'too new' ECU?
I have an 06 as well and seriously considering this tune pckg.
Have they been able to send you new tweaked cipher files for reflash yet?
Thanks.

Yeah I actually just received the beta for the self tuning program. I had a chance to go out last night and watch it in real time.

So yeah I have two tunes that I have been sent. I am still running lean at WOT. I've been real busy though with moving, my new promotion at work and with grad school so even though I bugged the crap out of UpRev for the beta, I still don't have that much time right now.

But other than that, it's good. I'll keep you guys posted though.

Good stuff...thanks for the update. It's still a beta program...hmmm.
Guess as long as it works fine and Uprev backs it up if not, it's all good.

Have a friend with Uprev for his 05. Took him about 5 flashes to get his AFR spot on. Uprev also sent him an updated faster/more stable reflash program recently.

He took me for a spin on his 3rd or 4th reflash... I'm impressed. Same VQ as mine along with same oil consumption issues as mine too

The standard Osiris is not a beta program. It's a fully released, finished program. There is an updated version of Osiris on UpRev's web site (free download) but it is also a fully released piece of software. It is much faster and more stable than the original version (as you mentioned below).

You mean he sent 5 sets of Cipher data to UpRev for them to interpret?

How did he know that the A/F was not spot on?

It does make quite a bit of difference.

I was going by 'App6MT' statement of his ECU being too new (he has an 06 looking at his Sig like me) and his response of 'Yeah I actually just received the beta for the self tuning program.' Perhaps he was talking about the Cipher program for 2006' G's

After he would reflash with his new files from Uprev, he'd data log more runs.
Uprev gives you the software so you can see all the data your ECU sees, but you can't change it. Only Uprev can or Uprev licensed distributors/dyno tune shops.
So he could see that he was still running slightly lean in cetain rpms. He Emailed me his data to check out.
After 5 fine tune tweaks/reflashes his A/F is between 12.6ish and 13.4ish across the board.
That in my book is very good...okay maybe not 'spot on' but don't think it gets much better than that.
Multiple reflashes are free, so why not tweak until it cant get any better

Osiris is licensed per vehicle. If you want to use it on two cars, you'll need to purchase a second license.

Cipher will work on as many cars as you want, but Osiris is licensed per vehicle.
