one side is power = just do positive ignition and ground ( + and -)

the other side just connects to the harness for the o2 sensor which needs to be screwed into the bung drilled onto your cats/testpipes whatever.

thats it.

thats correct youll need a bung that fits the o2 sensor.. if you have the aem gauge it should have came with it. you need to drill a hole and weld the bung and screw the o2 sensor into that.

it's not a straight plug in (at least for Innovate), at least for Innovate I know it needs to be air calibrated before you plug it in else the reading will be out of wack.

yes it does. Find a good muffler shop to weld the bing in. It should cost that much.

/\ I'm just basing my experience with Innovate were my buddy had to go through 5hrs worth of install after Innovate finally stepped in and said that the sensor needed to be air calibrated.

have the bunt welded as close to your engine as possible before your stock o2's if you can.... then depending on which gauge you using it needs to be calibrated.... I wouldnt pay more than $30 to have it welded

Calibrating an Innovate wideband is very easy to do. Should be in the instructions that came with it. Haven't done it in a while but as far as I remember you have to let the car sit for a several hours so it's cool, turn your key to Accessory (don't start the car), then hit the button on the gauge three times, display should start blinking, hit it one more time before it stops blinking, and it will calibrate. Don't do this after driving the car as your readings will be off, let it sit for several hours and cool down completely.

If you have an AEM, I believe they are ready to go right away (someone correct me if I'm wrong). My AEM is in the mail on it's way, so I'll find out for sure soon enough.

Guy's with widebands, did you use a dual channel (one sensor for each bank) or did you just use one and place it on the y-pipe where both sides meet? I've heard that although it's advisable to do both sides and as close as possible to teh engine, the readings will be pretty much the same at the y-pipe.

To calibrate the Innovate, you have to unscrew it and let it dangle in the air before you press the button. At that point, event if it was faily hot before, it won't be after hanging a bit.

$20 (for me) get the bung welded, screw in the sensor, connect the terminals and voila!!! OH and make sure you get it welded into the top of the TP or wherever! If you put it in the bottom youre readings will be off and eventually youll have to replace the sensor (not cheap):
