Talking 2006 6MT revup Vortech DYNO Results with Baseline

Ok here we go!! TOTALLY STOCK 2006 6MT REVUP G35 before and after vortech!
I couldnt find too many revup models with a vortech when I was doing research.

Stock exhaust everything, even stock clutch = the problem.

After it did 340whp!! Although I was hoping for 380whp the clutch was burning badly it could not hold the boost at all. They decided to not take it to redline to avoid making the car undrivable since the clutch smell was soo strong on each pull. I hope the clutch was the reason for the low readings. They said if they measured at speed it was like 360-370 whatever that means.

Ignore where the dots are...
Said they lost signal for a second...AF ratios look good!

Can you tell a slipping clutch from a dyno chart?

Driving it I cant help but grin everytime the traffic clears, totally worth it i highly recomend it! Cant wait until I get the new clutch and light flywheel to really see what it can do!

JWT clutch and flywheel combo, braided line, nismo bearing thing should all be here thursday.DOMODOMODOMO

Vortech CHATTER: happens at stock idle (500)rpm, if turn on the AC the idle is a tad higher and chatter goes away!

Very impressive gains from bone stock to a Vortech with no supporting mods! If they would have gone to 6600-7000 RPMs, you would have made more power. Time for a new clutch!

What pulley was used for this? The stock Revup Vortech 3.12 or the 2.87?

yep all stock, the stock vortech revup pulley is currently installed 3.12.

thanks guys!
hoping to get the clutch installed this weekend. next dyno day will be on 4.25 at sound performance open house bbq. their dyno may read differently but its only 50 bux and there sould be a bunch of oyher vq's to compare with. they have their 9 sec 350z too.

I posted some flybys on streetfire.net under the name 'oemplus' they are quick uncut vids it was 6 degrees out that day, I had just gotten the car back. I should probably figue out how to merge all 3 vids into one.

Nice gains from complete stock. Did you happen to put that new clutch in yet? Also did you get a V2 or V3 vortech?

i didnt have time to run at the dyno day so i had to cancel. i will be going soon. its a v2 kit, v3 would make the same power. yes jwt clutch and fly installed feels almost too stock, not difficult at all.

Clutch & flywheel aren't supposed to give you any power.
