reflashed ecu to my ignition?

reflashed ecu to my ignition?

dont know if i caould post here but i figured someone might have info on this . just got my harness and ecu for my 2006 rev up engine im putting it in my 03 g35 i heard i would have to get it reflashed to my ignition.... how do they do this and how long does this take? do they plug it in under my steering wheel in the port? dont know anything about this would appriciate some help thanks.

I assume you are using your 03 key and ign? If yes, then the dealer has to reprogram the keys so they will be reconized by the ecu. I don't think it takes long but I'd call and discuss it with them before doing so. Or you can try to get the ign and keys from the donor car.

They will most likely charge you 1 hour of labor at the dealership...it will probably take them 20 min.

Labour starts the moment your car arrives on property taking up space, time discussing with SW, etc............everyone must be paid including the guy who sweeps up and cuts the grass.
