214hp, 221tq on 05AT Sedan

Done on a Dynojet right after we installed a plenum spacer and new plugs.
214hp, 221tq

I was dissapointed until I did a bunch of research and it seems that my numbers are right where they should be for a pretty stock AT.

They also had a bone stock 03mt coupe that did 237hp. Why do the mt's put down more power?

The mt has less drivetrain loss, than the auto.

It really depends on how the dyno is calibrated. My sedan put down 227hp/ 214tq SAE on a dynojet 248 when it only had a plenum spacer and about 8k miles on the odometer. Did you have a/f recorded when you did the pulls?

I didn't get to dyno mine bone stock, but "almost" lol. My 05 6MT coupe put down 245whp/219tq with just a Popcharger and Ztube if that helps.

Blue graph = Popcharger & Ztube
Red graph = Popcharger, Ztube & HR y-pipe

I think his O2 sensor is off on this dyno. I have had a bunch of friends dyno on there, and the graphs show it being 1-2 points leaner compared to their readings on in-car widebands. I doubt the factory ECU would be running it that lean with that few mods done. I have had a friend datalog my car as well and have never seen any knock or anything.

If u have cats it may read a little lean as well. Mine is around 0.5 pts higher after than before the cats, and they are high flow. With OEM cats it's probably worse.

Thanks for posting your chart, Reid. If nothing else, it shows some gains for the HR-Y.

I take that back, I forgot he had a bad wideband for a while and then got a new one that matched up with the one on the dyno.

I think the issue is more along the lines of what was stated, this is going through stock cats so it shows it being a point or two too lean.

No prob. I always like to see direct comparisons of mods before and after, whether its track times or dynos. I am picking up an MREV2 and 5/16" spacer from a buddy of mine soon, so I'll have to get back on the rollers and see what she does with that.
