Only got 260whp and 255tq. Seems a little low to me...
05 coupe 6spd
Motordyne shockwave XTD v2 exhaust
Motordyne MREV2 manifold
Motordyne 5/16 iso thermal spacer
Megan Racing long tube headers
Unorthodox racing pulleys
Injen intake
16lbs flywheel
Osiris tune on 93octane.
Dyno done on a dynopack from GRD performance in Villa Park IL. There were 3 base runs, 250whp at 6700r's and 237tq at 4700r's was the read out.
All pulls were in 5th gear starting at 2KR's. My tuned hp peak was 260.0 @ 6500R's, 124mph. Peak TQ was @ 4750r's 250 not 255tq, my mistake.
Is that about right or does it seem low as it seems low to me???
Thx

you should of dynoed your car stock first, then dyno again after your mods, on the same dyno.
remember this your're still faster than any stock G out there. also, G's and mods dont make much HP, unless FI
I think you would of gotten better numbers starting in 4th gear.

I see, get rid of the Y-pipe and go with x-pipe with a true dual exhaust to top it off. I never actually understood the point of an aftermarket exhaust unless it has a similar design as stillen which has been proven to gain the most power and sound awesome. Was the car dyno tuned or pre-tuned according to your mods?

Well one thing is you posted up SAE number which are typically lower than the STD numbers that people post who just want to impress with numbers. I see the graph but do not see a/f monitoring. I assume since they tuned it that they were monitoring a/f, did they give you indicating what it was before and after?

Next time, dyno it in 4th gear. Also, dynapacks with the revised software read a little lower than dynojets. It used to be the other way around, but, if I remember correctly, there is some dynapack software version that reads lower than a dynojet.
You have some solid mods. Maybe you made a little less stock, around 230whp. You shouldve done a stock dyno.
Also, is that dyno you posted show your pre and post tune numbers? If so, you gained some solid power under the curve, though it's a bit less at peak. Still, does the car pull harder? You'll get better numbers in 4th.

The "Y" pipe goes into an "X" pipe which goes into a dual 3" exhaust... Trust me clubheads, this thing sounds unfreaken real! Just waiting on my friend to edit the vid..
Sloppy, i posted the other info which you asked for. They told me the TQ read out was incorrect which seems to be so. You can see it on the graph though.
03Base, my car is black. You can look that up in my album. When i got the car i was still a big time nooooober and couldn't lunch for shyt. I ran a 14.6 on bad tires. The dyno posted shows my base run with my mods on and than what the car ran after it got tunned. Freaken wish i tuned it before i put everything on..
The car feels stronger all around as well as it starts to pull earlier than before. I think it would pull even harder if it had more back pressure...
As you can see the exhaust uses claps rather than crappy bolts.
