Osiris Economy Map

Just curious... those of you who have tuned with osiris... what sort of MPG gains did you see using the fuel economy map?

please let me know what MPG gains you saw after the tune, with what mods you have

i didnt buy a G for economy, but I love the fact that osiris lets you get the power when you want it and efficiency when cruising, etc... so i just wanted to know the improvements everyone saw

Thanks!

i've never actually looked at the maps but shawn church said not to drive hard when on economy map because it is leaner than the rest of the maps, with that being said i never drive hard when in eco mode for fear of damaging the engine. i think just the thought of the map being the eco map makes you drive slower sort of like a placebo so basically eco mode+fear of damaging engine = driving slower, saving gas. i've never compared mpg on eco mode vs. mpg on tuned map. i hope this helps.

thanks for the reply... that would only add to it, but since its leaner, theoretically fuel consumption should be less anyway

i really dont drive my car hard at all and i see 15/23mpg city/hwy... 50/50 mix is about 18mpg... im going to go with osiris regardless, but I was just curious about that map

anyone else??

most who have eco map, dont even use it. Most all keep it on performance map all day long.

Im guessing eco map wont be much of a difference on fwy.

Just depends. National Speed, who tuned mine, said their customers noticed improvements with their performance map opposed to the eco or stock tunes. Just depends on the condition of the car before it goes in. I doubt the eco mode would be so lean that it would cause damage though. I just keep mine on the perf. map so I can get the most of the car.

I just keep mine on my most aggressive map all the time, because you never know when you'll need to merge into traffic. I still average about 20 MPG though.

you're right, I remember Shawn saying you'll see the most difference when you're driving in stop and go traffic...and even then maybe a 1-2mpg difference.
