Show me a before and after graph that proves it's worth and I'll start believing.
I will even offer free dyno time to someone who buys the Bullydog and lets me do a before and after run. As a tuner, it's worth it to me to find out if it's a viable product.

Because it's something new and different. Most people have been using the Access port or Osiris which are all good from what I have heard. I have always used hand held programmers from Superchips and Hypertech on my vehicles so I gave the Bullydog a shot and Im very happy with it. Im having a long debate about it on another post with a few guys and the disscussions are pretty intense, why i don't know because I believe that you shouldn't past judgement on something unless you have used it yourself. One guy posted a negative gain on the dyno with the Bullydog but the day was lousy. It was a rainy day with 70 degree temperatures which is bad for performance because the air is thick and heavy. I really am enjoying the programmer. I can't give you a number on the gains but I tell you this, my car runs stronger and quicker with the tune than it did before I installed it. And my gas milege has gone from averaging 21-22mpg to 28-29mpg highway at 65mph using the cruise. The engine runs more effieciently using the driving coach. It grades you on your driving to help you achieve your milege goals. Don't knock it til you try it Freakta, the programmer works. If it doesn't or you don't like it you can send it back. It has a 30 day money back gaurantee....good luck on your choice man.

I can respect that GrocryGettr, and my plans are to dyno my car with the tune. The closest dyno shop is 3 hours away from me, I live in Louisiana. So the only way it will get done is if I happen to be taking a trip that way. I want to give honest numbers to post for all the other people on the forum that are interested. It will just take time...

I have been following the other post too. My advice would be to stop feeding the lions and enjoy your BD system. When you do get it dyno'd, then post your results, but until then, leave it alone.

I agree and thanks. I also would like to take this time to opologize to any of my fellow members that I may have offended with my works. That was not my intentions believe me, things just got out of hand. And yes i will have my car dynoed for information purposes. I recently did an update on my programmer. I was using the download for the 05-07.5 G35s and the upgrade was for the 07.5 to 2011 models. It allowed me to adjust the rev limiter from 7100 rpms to 7250. The speed limiter is still set to 180 mph. I also changed from the premium tune to the 87 octane tune. Gas here is expensive. $309.9 for regular, $314.9 for 89 octane, and $339.9 for premium which would cost me about $70 bucks to fill up now. My gas milege is still pretty good with the tune. Im averging around 28 mpg highway in the 87 tune so im saving money all around. I keep going between intakes though. The stock intake with a K&N drop in filter seems to be the best. The temperatures at 24 degrees stay around 48 to 50 degrees, and at 68 degrees which it has been the last couple days its been around 50 while moving and 85 to 90 while sitting still. The JWT pop charger with an aluminum intake tube seems to get alot hotter? At 24 degrees it pulls in very cold air and the temp is around 38 to 40 degrees but sitting still the temperatures climb to around 140-155 degrees.. I like the Pop charger setup but think im going to purchase the plastic z tube for it. Plastic seems to obsorb and keep the temperatures cooler. Hope this helps and any info you guys may have on this subject will be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Well it sounds like we have a few options in the Osiris, Access Port and in my opinion the Bullydog Programmer? We will no once I have my car dynoed. Hypertech makes one also but the dyno on there site pevented me from purchasing it. 7hp/7pnft is not much for close to $500 buck. Even if my programmer doesn't produce large gains the increased gas milege makes it well worth the $395 I paid for it, some members have paid less. So hopefully I can get the dyno done soon so we can really find out if it's a viable programmer or more of a tune for better gas milege? we will see.

In an earlier post you mentioned someone doing a dyno on the BD system and losing power. The weather conditions aren't responsible for his power loss. All dynos should be corrected to standard conditions.

I tried to get a Hypertech unit to work for the early ECU sedans with no luck. That was a hassle. If UpRev offered support for the early ECU sedans, I go with them in a heartbeat. If you want to push BD, get a dyno. Everyone chooses UpRev because they make a proven product.

Im not pushing Bullydog 03BaseSedan, I was giving my opinion on the results I recieved from it. The UPREV is much to advanced for me as all I have is an intake. I don't plan on going any further than that so the bullydog was an easy option for me. As for the Hypertech, I went by was the dyno results from their website.

I understand what you're saying.

Either way, if you ever do a dyno comparison it'll be interesting to see the results.
