Bullydog tripledog programmer
Im not being defensive XET I was just stating my point. There are plenty of people that say they have felt gains from programmers, just like many have said they didn't. I have heard negative things about the osirus and cobb but people still buy them. I appreciate the help that you and everyone else are giving me, that's why I joined the forum. But we are all different and share different opinions about aftermarket products, that's what helps us all determine what products are good are not. Like I said before it comes with a 30 day money back gaurantee, if I don't like it I will just send it back. If I like it I will post my results from the dyno......thanks guys
In for dyno sheets.
LOL okay we can go back and forth on this subject all day but i can't. You guys are taking this much to serious for me. Im going to tune and dyno my car when I get it and post the results. I researched and found that whiteg35c2 posted a gain of 11.8 whp and 13.1 ibft with the Osiris and 03threefifthz posted a gain of 5 whp at 3000- 5000 rpm and 7-9 whp at 5000 to 6000 rpms. Those are okay gains but I would think it would have been more for $700 bucks. Just give me some time to take care of my business and I will post my results. This could actually be helpful to a lot of people that have questions about the programmers. Thanks Guys
In for results... Companies update their products all the time... Maybe this programmer has been updated? But who knows.... OP props for trying something different... !!! If it doesn't work then you only have lost $75 not 300+
Well I got my bullydog in on Wednesday and installed it with know problems. It appears that they already had the tune for the 07 G35 A/Ts. The install took about 20 minutes and went smoothly. I started off by installing the drivers coach witch allows you to adjust and setup your parameters to be displayed on the monitor. The drivers coach is so cool, it actually tells you when your wasting fuel, when your driving efficiently and grades you on all of it. There is so much to play with that it's not funny. This thing is awsome. I then intalled the 91 performance tune, adjusted the speed limiter to 180mpg witch I will never see lol. Adjusted the limiter to 7100rpms. I took her out for a long drive to give the computer time to learn the new program and could definatly feel a difference. The throttle response was quicker, the trans shifts were alot tighter and firmer, the car pulled hard through every gear. I punched the throttle at 45mph and was past 110mph in know time. I know my car and how it ran before the tune and Im telling all of you, the bullydog works. Now I know some of you are not in favor of hand held programmers for our cars but your just gonna have to take my work for it. It's worth every penny I spent. Now I don't have any dyno sheets on how much of a gain I got and don't know if I will or not. Im not in the business of having to prove anything to anybody. I know what I feel and how well my car is running and that's all that matters. If I do deside to have it dynoed it will be for the purpose of providing information for all my fello G35 brothers and sisters that are entrested. I don't think that every person that has bought the Osiris or Access Port has had there cars dynoed to prove there gains so why should I have to..I look forward to your responses..
Your car is probable a better response now. Only way to find out if you have gain power is before and after dyno. If i want a better response on my car i'll just reset my ECU. I forgot who did a dyno on their and the gain was around 1-3hp. He did a before and after and he said the same thing as you just said.
Yes I read them and to just go by one or two guys gains is ridiculous. Everyones car is different. There is more than response to the car. Im not going to go through the arguments about this subject again. I know my car and the way it performs now. I avreaged 29mpg on my trip at 65mph witch I didnt get before. It seems that the programmer actually retunes the computer to run more efficiently. When everyone posts all of there gains on the dyno I will post mine. Until then Im satisfied with the gains I have recieved from the programmer. It took 2 full seconds off my 0-60 time, 4 tenths off my 1/4 time and added 6 seconds to my 1/4 mile top speed so there is definatly a gain in power. All this was done before and after the install using the performance test. I did 3 runs each between stock and 91 performance and the runs were consistant. Dynos are done inside a building with a large fan simulating airflow. I don't believe it could simulate airflow traveling at 80-90 mph so they are not as accurate as you may think. I have made my post on this subject and im sticking with my facts. The Bullydog programmer is a very good programmer that has added better performance and gas milege to my car, it's worth every penny I spent on it. If someone lost power using this tuner then they don't have any clue to what they are doing. I reinstalled my factory intake and installed the program. my friend owns the same identicle car but his is an 02 model. We ran our cars twice and each race I jumped him 0-60 and by the time we were finished at the 1/4 mile i was 4 car lengths ahead of him. When we raced stock the cars were neck and neck through out the race and the 1/4 mile was by a nose, depending on who had the best reaction time. Thats plenty enough proff for me.

Yes Im happy so far Blue Dream, But Im just as curious as you and some of the others are. I will have the car put on the dyno just to see what kind of gains it really made. Maybe it will help some of our fello enthusiast when it comes to programmers, chips, and software tunes of all kinds. Thanks for the info though.
I believe this bully dog is all fake when it comes to performance. All it does is give you better gas mileage and better response. Until more proof comes out by the Dyno a before and after this thing is fake. You can say what ever you want about this product but you and only maybe 5 others have it while other have a better tune.
