Didn't one of the brothers pass away :-( Very sad...

OP, get your VIN number, and call up Uprev. They will tell you if it's covered. I know some non-doggy door cars still had the old ECU.

So i just got off the phone with Uprev and he (forgot name) told me that sedans built after October of 02 were the newer ecus and that the easiest way to tell is if your ECU plug is squared or rounded on the edges and that the rounded edge ecus were the newer ones that they support... hope this brings some more light to us early sedan guys

Well it looks like your edges are rounded! You seem to be in luck!

Very interesting indeed! You sir, have "lucked out" !!!
That is the newer ECU.
The information I gave you earlier actually came straight from the G35 Factory Service Manual, right from Nissan.
It names some exceptions to the rule on the "pre-329287" thing, but your vin/serial was NOT in the list of exceptions!
I'll see if I can get a pic.

Anyway, congrats!

Black connector = Type tunable.

Ecu tuneable or not

I was wondering if you’d be able to tell me if my ECU is tuneable or not? I’ve been trying to find out for so long

Its very simple. Look at the picture and compare it to the ECU that's in your car
