05' G35 Tune Results

I went up to get my car dynoed and tuned last year in Houston with the boltons listed below. Here are the results...just wanted to get everyone's thoughts on it.

2005 G35 6MT Sedan
Stillen Gen 2 Catback
Motordyne 5/16" Plenum Spacer
Motordyne MREV2 Intake Manifold
Z Tube and filter

New Additions, but not dynoed or tuned yet with these
Underdrive pulleys
Kinetix HFC's

what did you get tuned on? NA, target A/F is around 13, so you seem to be a little rich.

It was on a dyno dynamics. I thought it was a little rich as well, but I was not sure. I just had my HFC's and Underdrive pulleys installed...i can feel a good difference, but how much should they actually add on the dyno. Will the HFC's naturally raise or lower the AFR? Thanks.

How much do you see there being a difference if the AFR was raised from what it is now to 13?

From what I understand breather mods make your car run leaner

tune it to 13:1 AF and you should pick up another 10 HP probably. Seems pretty rich to me.

You want it to be about as flat as you can @ 13:1

Some cars are different but that is the best proven A:F for our motor

It was Osiris and I have heard that type of dyno does read low. I have a friend with an 06 Altima SE-R that came with me. He basically has all the same bolt-ons I have and he got about +15ft-lb more tq across the entire band than me, but about the same hp. I though for sure I would be equal or higher on all aspects.

that seems a little low for the mods ur running without tune.
I dynoed 235whp awd on a mustang dyno. U shouldve been scoring well into 240s with 6mt rwd.

Those numbers were with a tune. I heard mustang dyno runs higher than the dyno dynamics though...

Mustang dynos are relatively conservative but Dyno Dynamics AWD dynos are the MOST conservative dyno you can get on. Like the OP mentioned, I was there that day with my Altima SE-R and dynoed about 210 whp before the tune (223 after). I had been to the strip about a month before that and ran a 14.1677 @ 99.23, a pretty good time for a bolt-on VQ Altima. Others on the nissan forum that are running low 14s are dynoing anywhere from 220 on Mustangs to 240 on Dynojets

Ya I've heard Mustang dynos are relatively conservative but Dyno Dynamics AWD dynos are apparently the MOST conservative dyno you can get on according to the owner.

Like the OP mentioned, I was there that day with my Altima SE-R and dynoed about 210 whp before the tune (223 after). I had been to the track about a month before that and ran a 14.1677 @ 99.23, a pretty good time for a bolt-on VQ Altima. Others on the nissan forum that are running low 14s are dynoing anywhere from 220 on Mustangs to 240 on Dynojets...

So with the 223 whp I have now (on Dyno Dynamics) I may be around a 14.0 @ 100-101...just for reference
