Rob is using the Unichip I think it comes with the vortech. He says when im ready to upgrade the pulley, injectors, and fuel pump then I should spend the money to upgrade software. There are a few other mods I will add but I need to have some back up money just in case something happens. I will play around with this set-up until i feel the need for more, just hoping that feeling wont come to soon, lol.

I return mid august but hoping to have this installed no later than mid-September. I still need to place an order for my Koyo radiator and pathfinder mod. I think I will install those before taking it to Rob.

I peaked at your garage and I see you have a nice NA build car. Looks sweet from the mods you have. Must of cost a fortune. What kind of numbers are you pulling on that engine? I was thinking about doing that too but I just decided to FI it and deal motor if it ever goes boom.

All im going to be thinking about on vacation now is....

 

I dropped off the G at ZCG on Oct. 24th to have them start the Vortech install. The pre-dyno install came out to 244HP/237TQ, Stock was: 227/219, 5/16 added: 230/222, Ark V2 dual exhaust: 244/237

These numbers were not on a tuned engine. I should be able to pull more hp/tq from these mods once the vortech is installed and custom tuned. Here is the link were I will be making all my updates.

How did ZCG charge for dyno tuning and reflash?

 

Uprev reflash is about $300 and he charges however long the tuning takes @ his shop rate.
