Hey guys , I recently purchased a osiris tunner and tried connecting it today and it seems like i possibly burnt my ECU.. I tried flashing the car with a rom provided to me and got a fail within the first 50seconds of the flash.

The ecu isnt showing a part number now, all my instruments lights are on and the rad FAN is running 100%.

Could you guys please help me out.. Im very frustrated and disappointed with the product.

Please come to my rescue!!!!

 

telltale sign your ecu is fried.. don't know how it happened.. but lights on and radiator fan running pretty sure means your ecu is toast..

 

I dont think its fried just doesnt have any sofrware on it. I think the guy sent me the wrong ROM or something im pretty flipping upset...

 

when the fans are on it means the ecu is not communicating with the car .. heard that from more than one person that knows our cars..

 

What your saying is 100% correct but maybe theirs a quick fix other the removing the computer from the car and sending it to uprev. I might get them just to buy me a new ecu and send it over.. I cant wait 4weeks!

try flashing another rom or stock rom. Contact Vince at R/t tuning ...

 

I don't recall any of our tuners wasting their customers ECUs with Osiris, maybe we shouldn't blame Osiris! If we had any indication of your location maybe we could send you to the right tuner on Monday....?

Its fixed.. Had to relocate pin 3 to location 14.. The instructions for this aren’t that great.. Especially with pulling the pin out. I also managed to pocket dial 911 and had two officers come visit me asking wtf i was doing haha

The 2003 Gs are wired incorrectly and the 2003 sedans have maxima ECUs so apparently their none compatible at all..

 

I'll bet this was absolutely hilarious to explain

I can imagine repinning the ecu would look strikingly similar to hot wiring in the eyes of law enforcement
