Thanks.

So do i hook a computer up to the cipher cable then send you the information via email? And do I need a wideband? Or anything like a tuning license to reflash the ecu? Sorry, all this is foreign to me.

I think Concept Z Performance still caries the cipher cables though I haven't spoke to them directly about it.

Thanks

The cipher cable connects your laptop to the car via the OBD2 port. With the uprev software you can monitor and record all the information from the ECU (all G35's 04 and newer have factory widebands so you do not need an aftermarket one) and save it as a datalog, which can then be used to tune the car remotely.

Since you were dyno tuned to begin with you already have an Osiris license on your ECU, unless you got some sort of a refund from them and they reflashed it back to stock.

No one still sells the basic cipher cables, they were discontinued last year. If they're still displayed on their website then they need to update it... or maybe they have a couple left in stock from way back when. Highly doubt it tho

03 Sedan is a maybe.. you need to check the physical ECU and see which style you have. The early 03's are not tuneable.

He's not wrong, unless you're willing to invest quite a bit of time and parts into swapping the ECM and rewiring for a newer style of ECM (and the programming to make it work, they're not just plug n play).

First take your existing ECM, look at the sticker on the front, get the MEC##-###-####f number from it and get one that has the exact same number.

Yes the dealership needs to program the replacement ECM (lets it talk to the rest of the car, will not function without being programmed, anti-theft protection), call ahead and talk to the service department, they will usually let you drive the vehicle down, YOU swap the ECM in the parking lot (disconnect your battery first and pump the brake pedal a couple times to discharge the system entirely), THEY program it.

Once you get the new ECU you can also bypass NATS completely with an Uprev reflash, depending on how much the dealership is going to charge you may want to go that route instead. You can flash it yourself at home, and you get a fun tune to go with it.
