help needed....03 supercharged G35 coupe will not rev over 6k rpm after tune

About a week or two after my tune it started doing this, my G is an auto and in park it'll rev to 7200 no problem. when in drive if I get anywhere near 6k I lose major power and the car bogs down. But as soon as I get off the gas and give it throttle again all the power comes back. I don't get it.... I bRought it back to the tuner and he made a whole new tune from scratch and still it didn't work. He put my rpms to red line at 8k just to see if it would go past 6k and still it would stop at 6k. It's frustrating because I should be making more power I'm supposed to be at 9 pounds of boost and I'm barely getting to 8 because I can't get the car to rev high enough. Any help or input would be appriciated

sounds like maxing out the MAF if it's oem or the tune on the top end is bad.

is it a procharger? if so, I had a similar issue. it ended up being the belt skipping teeth at high rpm's under load due to worn pulleys(kit was used) and not enough belt tension. it caused a rich condition at high rpm's which made it bog down and feel like no power. fixed it by replacing the worn cogs and tightening up the belt.

Yea it's a procharger and that's a good idea I'll check that out. But why wouldn't it rev over 6k if it slips wouldn't it still go over 6k? Even the sound of the exhaust note changes when I hit 6k

This is what it sounds like. That's my car about a year ago. Notice how the sound and everything changes when it hits 6k. The weird part is a soon as I get off the gas and give it gas again all the power comes back.
G35 issues smh:

video doesnt work - its set to private. but from what you're saying it sounds like a belt slip issue. if there is any part of the cogs showing silver, or the belt is not tensioned tight enough then it will skip teeth and cause it to lose boost and hit a rich condition basically killing the power.

take a picture of the cogs, and also you should press your finger on the belts and it should not flex more than 1/2" or so.
