PFFT....
Thanks to Verizon, I can't transfer at all.
Everytime I try, my phone disconnects from the G.

From all you Razr phones, this thread sounds very encouraging compared to the 06's which sounds like absolute crap! At least Infiniti has seemed to iron out the bluetooth sound issues.

It disconnects, then go to the phone and hit "Send Contacts" - it'll then re-connect and transfer... or it should anyway.

Today I tried out the bluetooth in the G35x and the quality was excellent. My wife side she heard me clearly and I heard her clearly. I have a Blackberry 8700c with Cingular, although I did no try the phone book transfer because of time constraints.

I have a Cingular RAZR and I've had no problems. My friends say it sounds like I'm on a speakerphone, but it's still clear and understandable. Actually, I did have the problem of losing my phonebook voicetags twice, but now my voicetags have stayed active for the past 2 months.

Treo Bluetooth Weirdness

Hi All,

I have a Treo 700p and a '07 G35 Journey. Although the Treo pairs easily with the G35, the outgoing audio quality is poor. Calls sound clear on my end, but people say I sound garbled. Also, when receiving calls, the display in the car reports the wrong incoming number. Has anyone else had these experiences?

I don't have a G35 but I do have a Treo 700p paired with my Prius and it has the same issue as you mentioned with incoming phone numbers displaying incorrectly. I think it's more of a problem with the phone itself then the actual bluetooth hardware in the car. Hopefully, there will be a firmware update for this phone very soon.

My Treo 700wx works pretty flawlessly. Transferring contacts was a pain but a one time thing. I don't lose connections and people tell me they can hear me fine.

Zero problems with my Moto Q. So far, great quality.
Now if I could just transfer those contacts over...

I have a Blackberry 8703e.

It works very well. Sound quality is great.

Only thing it won't do is transfer the phonebook.

What's weird is, my Garmin Nuvi 360 transfers the phonebook(only numbers) with my Blackberry 8700c, how come they got it right?!

What I wish is to be able to switch as needed between the G-phone and my Motorola ear piece for the times I need some privacy.

I posted another thread about this. I find this one of the most annoying things about the car and gps bluetooth solutions. It's up to the phone's to have bluetooth prioritizing. Not sure if any phone does this yet? I don't believe so.
