Bluetooth + Treo 700w
Bluetooth + Treo 700w
I am expecting my new Treo 700w in the next day or 2. Just curious if anyone is having any trouble (or great success) with it and the bluetooth.
I was also curious if anyone knows of an easy way to get my contacts from my current Razr to the new Treo. I havent dont any research on the matter yet, so if theres some glaringly simple way that I have neglected to think of, feel free to harass me.
Thanks!

I ahve a Treo 700p here and for me, my experience has been fair to middlin'
it is currently working (in that it connects when I get in the car) however from time to time I will lose the cnnxn and not get it back no matter what I try.
upon pairing my phone will say "unable to find device in range", while I'm sitting in the car! then one day I'll be able to connect again.
Incorrect phone numbers are displayed on the nav screen and I cannot transfer my contacts
for about half the people I speak to I am virtually unintelligible, the other have no prob
other than the above I love it! lol

On Infiniti's site there is a list of the "recommended" phones. If the phone isn't on that list they say that there is no guarantee that it will work with the bluetooth.
Of course, yesterday is the first I knew of it after trying to research why my phone was flaky.

Interesting. Thanks guys. I just swapped over to the phone last night and havent even paired it to the car yet. I dont have GPS on the phone (i dont think, haha) and am still trying to figure out how to use the damn thing. I will let you know how it goes though. I plan on getting around to pairing it at some point today.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I have a Treo 700w (great device, BTW) paired to my 2007 G35. There are several issues I've encountered:
1. Known issue - signal strength meter does not work, always shows zero bars of signal strength.
2. Incoming call phone number usually wrong - haven't figured out the pattern on this, but I think it often displays the last number called out from the phone. As you can imagine, this can lead to some awkward answerings of the phone when you see an incoming number (or name from phonebook), but the person calling is someone completely different...
On rare occassions, it doesn't connect. I'd say it automatically connects at least 95% of the time when starting up the car, when it doesn't, rebooting the Treo or the car usually fixes it.
