If the 4wd system has a 50/50 power distribution and does not cut power to the rear wheels once they slip then you should be able to do a burnout. Just like in VAG (Volkswagen/Audi) cars you need to fit a Haldex controller which changes the power distribution from 30/70 to 50/50 and does no cut power off. It all depends on the 4wd system you have in place. There cold be some sort of an upgrade to the G35 but I'm not sure

You are going to have a tougher time spinning the wheels in an X, end of story. VDC may be off but you are still powering front and rear wheels. If I am understanding things correctly, the system will still transfer power between all 4 so no smoking tires for you. Besides, have fun powering through corners with your 4wheel drive, that is pretty fun too. Go G3-S with Tech package AND manual transmission, YEAH!
