I see this similar to a TSB update- even though it may not affect mechanical performance, it does affect efficacy of factory installed electronics. We pay enough on the front end for these options-including extended maintenance for some folks- charging for this update is ludicrous. I'll wait for the hack and do it myself

 

Ya its an update and not something thats wrong with the software when it came from the factory so i dont believe that it should be free, however some sort of a fee waiver on labor for first time updaters would be nice!!
