Steering wheel toggle switch works backwards.

I bought a '07 G35 Journey sedan about six months ago and am a new member to G35Driver. I just searched the site, but didn't find anything on the following issue: My steering wheel toggle switch works backwards; when you push up the radio stations or CD tracks go down and visa versa. This is counterintuitive and opposite of any other vehicle I've owned. (I'm sure glad the gas pedal and shift lever don't work the same way!) Has anyone else had this problem, or do I need to see the dealer?

Mine are the same way, my wife's murano (another nissan product) works the intuitive direction, the G's is backwards to that. If you have an AT then the shift lever is backwards for some people as well for the "manual" tiptronic shifting, there is info out there on how to switch this tho, havnt seen anything about the wheel toggles.

Thanks Kregg. At least I know it's not just my car. What were they thinking? Seems like swapping the up and down wires around were they go into the switch would do the trick if getting at the switch was a DIY job. I may ask the dealer about it just to see what kind of response I get!

Mine works in the same direction as the station list on the screen.

Let us know what you find out. At this point I may stick it out even if it is a easy change since I am a bit used to it, and no the Mo' seems backwards, but any reason to get in the garage is a good one sometimes......
