iphone 4S compatible with 07 G35S ?

Last G got totaled and I'm looking at an 07 G35S with NAV, premium and tech.

How will my iphone 4S play with this model's ipod integration? I don't need it to charge, though it would be nice. My only concern is the ability to listen to music through my iphone 4S via a simple cable.

I checked the other threads but it all becomes alphabet soup because of all the talk of buying cables, jail breaking, 07vs08, etc.

Thanks for any insight.

my 07 G sedan works just fine with a line-in cable to the 4s.. although, I must say, the Bluetooth receiver in the car does NOT play well with siri..

^ if you get 08+ you have the ipod integration where you get to control the ipod/iphone through the dash but with 07 you just get the line in which works perfectly well but cant control through dash unless you buy the integration kit which is not hard to install.

Thanks.

I presume "integration kit" that you are referring to is OEM and is high in cost.

I can live with manually controlling iphone given stock set-up. I just need a RCA>3.5 cable, right. I checked amazon and the lengths range from 8 inches to 6+ feet. Anyone know of any 12-15 inch cables?
