Ipod Integration 2007 G35x
Ok well, I've done quite a bit of searching to answer my question, but I am still unclear.
Is it possible to hook up my ipod to my non-nav '07 35x where I can use the steering wheel controls, get my play lists and such to the dash LCD, and play videos while driving?
If so, what connection do you recommend? I just got my 35, and im used to being able to swap out my headunit and install some high quality audio fairly easily. Obviously I can't do exactly that with this car, but I would like pretty good ipod functionaliy if possible.
As an aside, I plan on installing a sub (ive got the bose pkg) using an LOC, are there any better options I should know about?
Thanks guys.

I just bought a non-nav 2007 G35S and have the same problem regarding the iPod integration. There are some aftermarket units (iSimple being one) and one factory unit recommended by some on this site. The factory unit is sold by everythingG35:

I'm going to try this one that I found that seems like the latest and best:

Somebody successfully did a 2010 swap for the higher res LCD and from what I recall, there were significant differences in harness connectors. It required a head unit change too. I doubt factory service will be able to do it.

Ive been researching a way to do iod integration for the 2007 models and the closest thing I can come up with is this: http://www.pac-audio.com/productDeta...&CategoryID=36
A lot of money to get it just to see if it will work.

I guess I'll just have to wait until I get a new car one day. Paid mine off and I love not having a car payment.

I used this integration on a previous car and worked perfectly. I noticed they support Nissan / Infinity, might be worth giving their customer service a buzz to see if it's compatible. Great customer service if I remember well.
