Great Blutooth Audio Device Alternative - Istream
Long story short, I wanted to play music via Blutooth from my Iphone to car radio without any wires. Found this solution and it works great. Just wanted to share this great device with everybody. This thing is so small that you can easily tuck it in the armrest.
I have a 2007 G35X, it doesn't come with the Ipod cable integration. Only RCA jack.

Just want to know your experience with turning car on and connecting via bluetooth.
Thanks!

It comes with all needed wires. It also has a Lithium Ion battery they claim to last 12 hours, I haven't tested this out as of yet. But will when I head home for the holidays. I just leave it plugged in to car lighter via USB. It doesn't have any grounding feedback either, I was weary about this when I purchased the unit.
It works with any phone that has A2DP capabilities. So far I've tested the unit with following phones. Iphone 4S, 5 & Ipad 3, Galaxy Note, S3, HTC (Forget what model, the Windows 8 phone) without a hitch. As for BB, I have no clue, none of my friends have this phone anymore, no way of testing.
Agentgreen: No problems at all. Turn the car on, power up the device and off I go. Been using it a couple hours each day since purchase a few weeks ago. Wanted to use it for a while before I posted here.
Kool: Nah, I let the car do the charging for me. If it dies after a year or 2, I don't really care since the thing only costs $30 with a year warranty.

I have this as well. It requires you to power it on every time you start the car which becomes a hassle after a while. I'm currently looking for one that automatically powers on when the car starts. The battery does last forever though. Used it at a party once and it lasted well over 6 hrs.

The blackberry one I have comes on when the car starts, but like I said, I have issues with the bluetooth connection and my android phone.

Also, I saw this unit at Staples last Sunday. Not sure if you guys have Staples in the states, but if you do, test it out. Don't like it, just return the device.
PS: NO I do not work for this company. 2 members sent me pm's asking if I did. I've been looking for blutooth solution for nearly 6 months, just happy I did and wanted to share this with the community.

FYI, this same device is a chinese made generic. It's sold on ebay branded for many different companies. It goes anywhere from 12 bucks to 30+ when i was looking for one. There's this one device that the whole bluetooth receiver is built into the 12V plug and it has a 3mm jack to go to a aux input. I saw it on dealaday.com (or something like that a few weeks ago), but it sold out. I think that one came on immediately upon starting the car.
