I'm at 2k miles and mine squeak only when i'm slowing down from like 5mph and apply light pressure,When i here the squeal i apply more pressure the squeal instantly goes away.Hopefully it gets no worst.

 

exactly what mine were doin...kept drivin it for about another week and it went away...havnt happened since...im now at 6k miles.

 

The funny part was i always thought it was some other car's making the squealing noises.I'd driving around thinking "he needs to fix that s**t".One day noticed the noise with no other cars around.

 

I first noticed it pulling up next to a BUS... and thought nothing of it.
Then, same as you, no other cars around YIKES.

I think there will be a fix for it. Some sort of backing for the pad bracket.
Just a guess....

 

AHHHHHH......this crap is happening to me at 7,000miles....WTF....it squeals when i slow down from 40....or going towards a full stop. It squeals at around 3000 miles, but the dealer said nothing was wrong with it.

its embarassing when the 1990 civic next to me is running super quiet. I am going to spray down with water one day to see if it happens again.
