what do you mean by squeeking....if its a noise that only happens when pressing the brakes between about 5mph to a full stop then yes that happened to me. It went away, but every so often ill get it here and there. It was strange because if i held the brake down from 25 mph to a full stop you wouldnt not hear it until about 5mph like i stated above.

I have this...
They turned the rear rotors and replaced the pads. It's coming from the FRONT! DOH!!
I'll let you know how they eventually fix it.

Yeah, I posted this issue last month. I'm glad I'm not alone.

I've learned to live with it. Or, I just brake harder than usually initially. Maybe the system just needs to warm up or something. It's odd, however, that the sound happens even when I turn the car off and jump out for 10 minutes, then hop back in, drive off, and brake again.

UPDATE>>
They replaced my pads and turned the front rotors... so far so good.
This seems to be a known problem, as the tech said he has seen a few posts on their intranet.
I'll post back if the noise returns. I 'think' it might only apply to the front sport model disks.

Yeah I've had the "normal" squeak = I could live with that... but this is like a TRAIN SLIDING DOWN THE TRACK.
Definitely not normal.

Ocassionally, the brakes will squeak when I first back out of the garage, but otherwise none. Keeping my fingers crossed.

yeah that's what my dealership said.. I was like "uh...then...fix....it..."

He said they did every 'test' and diagnostic possible with brakes.. I'm not complaining cuz the squeaking got alot less, it's still there but it's bearable now.

I wonder if this could have been caused by improper break-in while still at Nissan? I know they track the cars to inspect them, but I've read several posts regarding proper rotor bedding. Is it easy to reproduce for them?

I get it every once in a while only while pulling out of the garage (cold) and making a full turn to the right. I figure the I'll never be able to reproduce the noise at the dealership, so what the point.

UPDATE: FOR ALL...I have had this problem for the past 2 weeks now...Mine starts at 20mph all the way down until i stop....sometimes occurs when im turning and not even applying the brakes but it sounds like when a train is stopping...that type of squeaking...I am replacing my pads as we speak and taking my rotors to get turned....hopefully this fixes the problem but it is embarrassing like stated above..I have read alot of info on the internet that our brakes have these issues....The rotors are soft and the pads wear down pretty quickly on our cars..Some people are fortunate to have this problem never occurs but others it does. Anyways i will give everyone an update on this once finished.
