Help. G35 Sport Brakes Question.

Sup G-units owners! According to the brochure/stats the 6mt or journey with sport pkg model suppose to have 13.0" front and rear brakes, but when I look at my car the rear brake rotors look way smaller....

Anyone notice this?

Front and rear rotors are different sizes on the Sport.

EDIT: Think I was wrong, when I looked at the G today it looks like the rotors are at least close to the same diameter, the rears are just thinner (less swept surface)

Interesting because the FSM states the two types of brake rotors on the car are as follows:

Type One
F: 12.99 × 1.260
R: 12.99 × 0.630

Type Two
F: 12.60 × 1.102
R: 12.13 × 0.630

They look smaller due to the Journey having 17" wheels and the Sport having 18"s.

The swept area is probably throwing you off. The diameter is the same size but the swept area is smaller on the rear.

YEAH! Thanks! I look from a farther distance and they look the same size just the rear rotors are smaller due to the differential.

What would the rotors have to do with the differential?
