Eibach Drop/Alignment Tire Wear issues??

Eibach Drop/Alignment Tire Wear issues??

Whats up guys and gals, bought my Eibach Pro-Kit a few months back, didnt buy the camber kit for the OEM Tires and had to replace them within 2500 miles. Finally bought the kit, new set of a Goodyears and had alignment done and now still have to replace the rear tires after another 3000 miles. Luckily my boy works at sears and he got them warrantied so im getting new rear tires for free cause the front ones are still brand new.
Plus hes giving me an alignment hopefully I can trust this time because there was serious positive camber issues, probably a F**K UP by the alignment shop.

The bridgestones had serious negative camber wear...obvious, but the goodyears have had wear on the outside of the tread, so it seems like they gave me too much..on purpose or not.

I never bought the toe adjusters, does anyone have knowledge on that issue, should I shell out the extra 30 bucks for those toe bolts or is it unneeded after purchase of the rear camber arms (Eibach).

Are you really drifting your car? Needing new tire at those miles is almost unheard of. My tires look almost brand new.

As far as I know, there are two kits through Eibach. One contains camber arms+toe bolts, the other is toe bolts ONLY. You should have gotten toe bolts. The question is whether or not they were intstalled and if they were installed correctly by elongating the hole.

What were the alignment readings so we can comare them to factory specs?

I'm on H&R springs(lower than Eibach) with no camber or toe adjustment and I'll probably get 15-16K miles on my TR1s. I'm running just under -2* camber all around but my toe is straight front and back. What are you doing to lose tires that quickly??? If you're going do drift it, at least get those tires that shed colored smoke...its so cool looking...

Am I to understand no kit is needed for the fronts or that none are currently available?

I have Eibach's with the rear kit. I currently have a non-staggered set up 245/45 18 (waiting on new staggered iForged 20's to arrive!!). I just rotated a second time after 11,000 and have some inside wear on the front's but the rear seem to be wearing pretty evenly. I think I could get another 11,000 before dismounting and switching sides. I'm nowhere near the wear strip yet. I'm running -1.4 in front. 3,000 miles per set is really bad and really expensive. That would be four new sets per year for me and I don't put that many miles on my car. I'm not spending $4000 per year in tires.

As far as I know ... none are available, but SPC is rumored to be working on it.

To be deadly honest, I dont drift, do stand still burnouts for fun...can probably count the number of times I did on one hand throught the past year, and they have always been launches.

The camber issue was really bad i remember before I bought the kit, but I know the first time was my fault, you could look at the tires and see them leaning inwards (before camber kit).

As of now, it almost looks like they are leaning outwards, I mean I do drive fast, 20% of the time, and NYC roads SUCK ***...but it just seams really odd.

And I dont have the readings, I will have them in a few days when my friend who works in sears gets back from vaca, then I get the new rear tires and a correct alignment hopefully. Is there anyplace I can find proper alignment specs for the car?
