For those of you with rims (TPMS)

So for most of y'all with rims, i'm planning on buying some Sevas soon, and i was wondering what all of y'all with rims are doing about the TPMS sensors?

I read a lot of y'all are riding without the TPMS and just having the light on, but I kinda wanna have the TMPS in my wheels. Would they just mount in the wheel where the valves are? Would i have to do anything custom to get them to fit? Any input is appreciated... Thanks in advance

I just left mine off. There's only a small yellow light that will come on. It won't beep, it won't blink, no messages on the screen... it's pretty much unobtrusive other than the small light and I don't even notice it.

I don't understand when a company offers a valuable option like the wheel
sensors why not use them? I've had my sensors in three different sets of
wheels and they've always worked. There's no reason when you mount the
new wheels not to include the sensors, they'll work fine!

I just put mine on the new wheels. No big deal really although they did have to "alter" a wrench to get them on. That was because of the wheel and not the TPMS. I've been very happy I had mine. It caught a tire that was low before it was even visible that it was low - turned out there was a huge nail in the tire.

didn't say they wouldn't work, but i decided to leave them in the oem tires... mainly because I didn't want to dismount the oems just to get them out. my new tires/wheels came in, i got them mounted and then swapped out on the car.

but how does it mount? Do they just pull it out my old wheel and pop it into my new one? Do i have to buy anything? I might be able to get the wheels mounted unmounted really cheap, so that won't be the problem. I'm just wondering about the actually process and if anyone with SEVAS have done it?

They are mounted exactly the same way a regular valve is mounted in a wheel. The only difference (that I know of) is that there is a big "box" on the inside part of the stem. The place mounting the tires should know how to do it.
