I have Eagle F1's now... where is there a place to get COST cheap tires? Eagle and the stock ones are the only decent tires out that fit our rears right?

Cheap tires? Try Costco or TireRack.

Remember, you get what you pay for, and tires are the ONLY part of the car that connects it to the road.

I got the Good Year Eagle F1 all season installed on my car yesterday. Grip doesn't seem to have gotten better or worse, sounds like there is a little more road noise. I think they look cool from behind. G35s btw.

Damn good advice Mike, but Costco isn't the best place to buy tires. Compared TireRack prices to Costco and they were $100 more per tire
and....they won't mount tires on aftermarket wheels. With our economy
you could probably shop around and get an INSTALLED PRICE cheaper than
TireRack. I'll be shopping around next spring for Michelin's cause I hate
the Stones I'm using....

Costco has good deals when they distribute coupons. For performance tires, I'd look elsewhere, as Costco's selection is rather limited.

Get the best price you can find on line, then go to a local guy and see if they will match it. Chances are they will and you get a local dealer to stand behind them.

I saved about $350 on my winter tires that way.

First - use a different size than the stock fronts (Sport), that'll give you way more selection.

I compared Tire Rack's prices, then took them to the local Discount Tire. Since I buy all of my tires there anyway, and they're all freakin' expensive, they give me pretty good discounts - in this case I pointed them to the web price, and we reached a deal.

There is a local place up here (Town Fair Tire) that will beat any internet price on any tire I beleive. I printed off the price on Tire Rack and they beat it by 5%.

I just got tires from Tire Rack for my 07' G35 Sport . $655 for all four delivered in one day. Went to Walmart and mounted and life time balanced for $56. Just make sure you mark the tire for outside and which go in the front and which in the rear on the right width rims. I bought the Kumho Ecsta Platinums. Great tire and very Quiet compared to OEM tires with 21000 miles.
My daughter has the same tires but were installed incorectly but luckily installer is replacing them for free. Discount tire wouldn't touch the price and you don't have to pay sales tax to Tire Rack.

In the last couple of years, new tires in the same class as our OEMs have come out, at least going 'up' one size, specifically Sumitomo HTR Z III and Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric. Tire Rack tested these against our OEMs and they came out looking great, but I would love to hear from any actual users on our cars. Anyone tried these tires?

Just installed Falken's FK 452- 240/45/19 on new Nismo A34 19' wheels after 17,000 miles on original Bridgestone OEM's. Bought the Falkens off www.onlinetires.com for $157 each- got the wheels on ebay new for $599 with 25% microsoft live discount (will get the discount credited to my paypal in 60 days). The ride/handling is great- better than the OEM's. Pix to follow
