I have a g35xS and i plan on lowering my car and wanted to see what springs could go on an X. This is my car now and i think a drop would clean it up real nice. Any opinion or advice would be greatly appreciated

Yeah, I love the look of those.
It's the premature shock wear that has me hesitant.
I do a lot of miles and shocks are not something I wanna replace once a year.

Looks like Impul is still my best solution for now.

hey aesonvirus,
from quite a few posts already, you seem really "stoked" on those impuls, they're only like 700-800, you're talking $400 ish over eibachs. Not a big deal man.

JUST DO IT MAN! don't wait, you live once. I used to be like that on my camry, maybe i should, maybe i shouldn't (for about a year), then i just said...FAWK IT! let's do it. so i slammed it, and i never regretted it. only thing i regretted was waiting so long.

If times are tough, throw a bake sale or go door to door asking people to donate to your "impuls for G's" foundation.

As for your premature shock wear, my camry's been dropped for 3 years now on eibachs, shocks are still good. This car about a year, still good. My ol' mazda, 3 years on eibachs shocks still good. my ol' civic for 4 years, shocks never went. I should be an eibach representative but I haven't experienced a blown strut ever with eibachs. I know many others who haven't as well, for years now (RSX, my bro's protege, buddy's integra, etc).

...Just implying you won't regret it, the look and handling benefits outweigh a possible blown strut ($200-300) 5 years from now, if that.
