I should have them by early next week.
The game plan is to to some bench testing on rates before I pop them in.
Awesome! I'm curious to know how much stiffer than stock the Tanabe's I have are. Tanabe claims the rates are 7.6 / 7.2 (F/R), which is supposed to be only 5% stiffer than stock, but they use the same spring rates for their G37 coupe springs, so I'm wondering if they are 5% stiffer than the stock sedan springs or the stock coupe springs?

How do they spec a single spring rate when they are progressive?
The general standard for measure is pressure at 1" of spring compression from rest.

Yeah, I was wondering that myself, as they don't specify at what travel the rate is measured. I've already tried to find out the answer from Tanabe, but they are no help. I can only guess that the posted rates are either the initial compression, or the stiffest rate at full compression.

Well, I'm definitely pleased with the drop. The drop is perfect. The springs settled into about .90" all around with about 1K miles on them. I'm just not entirely happy with the ride. They are just a little too bouncy on every day driving for my liking, moreso than stock... and I'm not sure if that is due to them being too soft on initial compression, or if the spring rates are actually a little too stiff for the stock dampers, so they aren't able to keep up with the new springs. The car also seem to pull into the dips now, where it didn't before, so you definitely have to keep both hands on the wheel ALL the time, otherwise it is can actually yank the steering wheel right out of your hand. I'm hopng now that the spings are fully settled, that having it realigned will help, so we'll see.
Yes.... your drop look AmaZinG~!! =)
But I hear ya about the driving dynamics... hmmm... best of luck. Thanks for the review. Im sure if this doesnt work out for you, you will find something that will and you will be super happy about your suspension once again :P hehe

Thanks man... I think the springs are fully settled now, since they've been on the car for about 3 weeks and almos 1K miles.. They ended up lowering both the front and rear pretty evenly... right around .90" drop for every corner. I will post a bunch of updated pics here, https://g35driver.com/forums/picture...ings-pics.html, as not to hijack this thread, but here is one 'teaser' pic of the final drop.

Springs are in da howse.
I'm having trouble lining up a place to test the rates.
One way or the other I'll have something next week.
The OE are getting pulled this weekend.

Wes I think Ian said earlier his car would be on blocks for a week while both sets of springs are getting tested in a shop.
