370Z springs experiment

370Z springs experiment
Ya that's right.... I have scored a set of 370Z springs to test with
Plans:
I'm trying to line up a test facility to give me some actual spring rates for he G & Z
Then it's a test fit for drop.
This may prove to be a completely worthless experiment, but my hopes are:
1. Knowing that the Z is a lighter car than the G, it is most likely sprung more aggressively.
result = close to a rate compatible with the OE sedan rate.
2. The drop? ....a complete unknown, but I'm hoping it's similar to what we were doing with 1st gen cars.
...stay tuned they're on their way to me now.

Interesting. I would like to see how it works out.
I ran a Z suspension on my G35 for over 4 years. I actually ran the Nismo S-tune suspension, and it worked well. The rear was about a 10-12mm lower than the front, so I used a 3/8" polyurethane spacer on top of the rear spring mount to slightly raise the rear.
