Yeah, my summers would fit around those just fine, but the 17" wheels I run in the winter would never work.
Oh well...

Ah, so you'd say just stick with the stock brake system, even for light track duty, and just be prepared to replace them a lot?

Yea, the Akebonos are gorgeous but out of my price range

I won't answer that

But i will say, i've read some pretty good feedback on the stock "S" brake system on the track. I think the hardware itself is pretty robust, and if you need to, you can always go with Carbotech pads and work your way up the ladder.

Can't beat the allure of those Akebono's though.

anybody know if axxis makes a pad for our cars?

i had good luck with axxis metal masters in the past. quieter than the name suggests, very low dust and great bite but still rotor friendly.
