how long have your front wheel bearings lasted

Hello out there in G land,
anybody else out here have problems with their front wheel bearings? Idrive and 07 G35X allthe time 100 miles a day,
at 37,500 miles I had a failure in the right front wheel, brought it to the dealer
who said no problem will do it under warranty. I asked them while they were in there to check out the Left front wheel as well, they assured me this is a rare incident as the bearaings only wear out on the FX35's , well here it is a week later and the left side bearing is worn as well, again they tell me no problem its under warranty.... I dont want to be back there @ 76,000 miles out of warranty.... having to pay.. anybody else have prolems?

How did you know the bearings were bad?? I am at 17.5k, brought my 07 G35X in to dealer 2 X and seem to feel a slight grinding / vibration in front axle driver's side. Its been checked out - dealer tells me that they thought it was a slightly warped REAR brake rotors. They were resurfaced . That wasn't it. Bring 'er back on Tuesday and go for specific drive with the Tech.. They f___d up the engine performance when the Dealer Updated the ECU by applying the TSB 08-017 - totally affected the way it drives ....

front wheel bearings

when turing right I felt a slight growl or grinding news, do not confuse the noise with the tires the same with the other side.... when I took a right hand turn I would hear a slight growl and overall just a niosy ride....

warranty took care of both wheel bearing assys.....

they told me the backs are OK..... I will keep you guys psted as to how that goes...

I have an '08 G35 X with 66k miles. My warranty expired this past March. Since June to September - i have had to replace all 4 wheel bearings!!! That is correct. Had two go on me when i was on a long trip - the noise became unbearable.
It seemed like they were going in rapid succession. Left front, two rear and then the right front. Rides smooth as silk now. Not kidding.
Live in Rochester, NY - had a bad winter last year and a lot of salt put on road. I don't drive it hard - usually. THis is ridiculous. BTW - about $500 each. Anybody else?

I have a 2006 G35X and just had to replace my fight front wheel bearing. 89K miles. I said to the mechanic (I no longer go to dealer - they moved.) "I never had to do this on any other car I ever owned.". He said "You should have bought a Lexus...". $500.

08 G35xS with 46k miles both front bearings replaced. Mechanic said the passenger side was shot and drivers side was on its way. Fortunately extended warranty covered it.

Just an FYI here:

Infiniti has a TSB out (ITB10-067) which notes that bearings can be damaged by impacts (collisions, curbs, potholes, etc.). This could well explain how a lot of folks have needed replacements at such varying mileages.

08 G35x110k miles 80+ miles daily still haven't had the need to replace my bearings, on my 04 AMG E55 I had to replace them every 30k.
