I wonder if the VDC is off with a G35X, would you experience the same 180 turns in the rain described by 4drsleeper?? It also has to do with the type of tires and thread too...Haven't tried. But driving without VDC does feel a little different when turning - no wheel to wheel braking and the "nanny" is gone on the throttle....

If the AWD's are proper 4WD like the Quattro's then you should be able to do a AWD drift, I used to do this all the time when I drive my Audi, it's the best feeling ever because you can keep on accelerating without any worries of spinning out

i was test driving my mom's 3.0 VDC outback wagon with new tires today in the rain. got a little sideways with all wheel drive and the nanny on. it is a pretty good feeling having all the wheels pulling. you get very good road feed back. that 3.0 only puts out about 250 HP, but still makes the car move pretty good. it has sport auto trans so you can rev it up pretty good in 2nd and 3rd and get some good cornering Gs.....

wish our Gs came out with an all wheel drive manual trans option. although the RWD is very good.
