I am waiting for my new wheels to come in and purchased aftermarket TPMS sensors from Revolution Supply Co (www.revolutionsupply.com). They have assured me that they will work and be able to sync with my car, my question is: when people with aftermarket wheels and TPMS sensors switch back to their stock wheels and original TPMS sensors, do you go back to the dealer to have the original TPMS sensors re-synced so that the TPMS light doesn't come on?

Yep. Unfortunately, Infiniti's system only seems to memorize one set at a time.

Well i dont think so. The reason why people have to go to the dealer to get the TPMS reprogrammed is because they went to get there new ones programmed in the first place which made the car forget the old tpms.

However, if jimmyjones aftermarket TPMS work ok with the car right out of the box WITHOUT a visit to the dealer then he should NOT have to go back to get the OEM ones reconfigured when he wants to put them back on.

My understanding is that the AF company is somehow duplicating the code of the original TPMS which makes the car think that they are OEM. I know it sound s confusing but if i am understanding this correctly then you should be fine and NOT require to reprogram the old one when you put them back on.

I'm running a full aftermarket TPMS system with LED display..

consider this an option..

it has a lot of cool features including high and low pressure alarms you can set and it tells you the tires temperatures in virtually every system of measurement

ignore the random cable... this photo was taken right after i got it... I have since hardwired the power cable into the cubby area.

^ i have that exact same one. Orange Electronics or something. Its pretty neat as it also tells the tire temps which is pretty cool to see how the psi increase with rising temp etc.

BTW you have high PSI, any specific reason? I run 35cold

I think i understood what you just said. If so, that would be cool. I was always under the impression that the computer can only store one set of codes, thus the need to reconfigure it.

I run 40 cold... personal preference i guess. i dont mind the stiffer ride for improved performance, gas mileage and tire life
