Gotcha on the COs... that was just my funny answer.
The larger rotors = better mech advantage.
Larger mass = better heat capacity
Any less than desirable results on track must be due to pads.
I do agree that in DD service there will be negligible perf difference.

Who, my response got deleted somehow. Anyway, Ian, CO=CoilOvers, sorry about that.
Ajay, are you sure they don't stop any shorter when cold though? The extra mass on the rotors should be good for extra heat capacity, although it also takes longer to cool down... and from what i've read there are diminishing returns to be had as you go bigger on most daily driven vehicles that see occassional track duty.
No go on the spacer, as you'll see on my test fit there's barely room for the caliper.

Man, that's really hard to gauge. Just the fact that the coupes are heavier tells me that if those same brakes were put on the sedans, the sedans would stop shorter. Although, there's also the tire differences, 37s have different profiles as 35s...
Stop confusing me willya?
Maybe i should just do a before/after comparison? Only question is, where can i safely do multiple 60-0 stops?

maybe find a huge parking lot? There's just so many variables. Like if you're testing worn pads vs new pads in the akebonos.
