lowering 08XSport

There is no question the ride is stiffer and you will def want to avoid big pot holes...but the handling and cornering is so much better than stock...its a bit of a trade off...and the main reason i dropped mine...looks.... your car will look so much more aggressive!

I agree...I want the drop for looks. A dropped car just has so much more appeal.

Does anybody have a figure of how much its going to cost me to get the Eibach Pro Kit and have it installed all together? I have no idea for the installation fees? Could I do this myself or no?

804VA,,, I just paid alittle over 300.00 for the Eibach's, (prokit) shipped with tax :-( i was gonna install mine myself,, except for the front struts,, I don't have a spring compressor,, so i'll take it some where,, however,, we are gonna have to align it after a little while,, so that'll be around a 100.00 then, we may need camber links,, but im gonna watch my tire ware, and only put them on if i have to....i am looking forward to a more aggresive stance and flatter cornering!!!

springs

i did mine and am not a mechanic by any means...i had a little help from a friend but still not hard to do....if you dont feel comfortable you should try the rears and have the fronts done by a shop...save yourself a few bucks and learn a few tips

I would do a drop (would be my first big-time mod) with a switch to 19" all-around but on pothole-ridden streets of NYC it would be suicide. Impuls' drop isn't as agressive as Eibachs' but I can't afford the Impuls. Staying stock

Ride isnt bad if you are on stock 18's with a drop...i think the ride goes to sheit if you drop it on 20's and dont replace shocks/struts

Pittsburgh roads absolutely suck but i still would never go back to stock..i love how flat the car stays when cornering...feels 10 times more planted to the road...not to mention the car looks sleek as HeII!!!

well im currently running the G37S 19's with a 45 series tire. It so tempting to go Eibach but i dont know if i can sacrifice ride quality for looks.

The IMPUL springs are $450 plus shipping right now and call me crazy, but Im thinking about ordering.
