Since my last post back in early October I see some new members complaining of the same. For a dealer to tell you they have never heard of any of these issues is complete garbage. They are simply lying to your face, which is what the Nissan Tech told me that they sent out to look at my car. He told me that this "aft and fore sensation that you are feeling is a resonant frequency that the drivetrain on M's and G's create" (BULL SHTI) The reflash for the 04-06 with the same "shudder at 40mph" issue can not be replecated to our 2007s for some stupid reason. The tech knew exactly what it was, brought my car to approximately 36-37mph and somewhat replicated the issue. He then proceeded to tell me there is no fix. Call me a moron but wouldnt the failure to correct all of our issues, that they know damn well about, be a prime candidate for a lemon?

I plan on selling my G in the spring- love the car, hate the way it behaves in traffic and under normal driving conditions. I will never purchase another Infiniti/Nissan product again. For these meat ***** to have all the money in the world why cant they help out their loyal consumers and just give us a fix?

My shudder has gotten worse as I move closer to 70k mi, it actually occurs near 20mph now. My dealer hasn't done anything to fix it although I replicated it with the tech in the car. They said the updated parts that fixed the problems in the previous gen G35 didn't apply to the current gen so I just keep getting the run around. I plan to convert to Lexus soon after this, my 3rd Infiniti.

yeah, sounds like the VB/temp sensor is slowly tearing our tranny's up. I guess i'll be extending the warranty to make sure that if/when my tranny falls out, i'll get a new one.

I plan to drive in manumatic & beat the **** out of my tranny in the meantime.

I read this whole thread last night because i thought i was having the same issues but mine was stupid ice in my wheels.

Some people have had it fixed temporarily with new flashes or sometimes an ECU reset here and there. Some people have replaced entire transmission or valve body to fix it or still have it happen.

I can actually feel something here and there around 40 as well but it doesn't bother me.

What are you noticing?

I went to my dealer at least 3 times about the issue and they claim there isn't a known problem with the 2007 G35X and a shudder at 40 mph. I took printouts of all the posts on this and other forums about this issue posted by others. And they still wouldn't admit there is a problem. They said if they can't replicate it then there is nothing they can do. It happens intermittantly and of course when I leave it at the dealer it doesn't happen. My car still does it but I don't know what else to do.

Can you tell me what the tsb number is so that I can request it. I guess I should ask if it fixed the problem. Did it?

That TSB was for the 05/06s, infiniti won't admit that the 07-08 may have the same issue
