My solution was to trade my X in for a 2011 6MT seadan. Absolutely no AT issues.

I don't really mind it shuddering time to time but I don't wanna deal with dead transmission in the near future.

I dont think it will kill the trans...i mean we have a lot of 2nd gen sedans here over 100K with no issues on trans ect.

It's just part of the car. If you really hate it..then just shift manual up a gear at 40 mph and you wont feel it at all

I usually just shift to 5th if it's really bothering me and you don't feel it at all..it's only in 4th. I wouldn't be worried. I have ahd bad luck with my car (new engine at 63K..not the norm on these cars) but you should be fine.

It would really help to know more about your particular symptoms and what have you done/checked/eliminated so far?

Particular symptoms? Same as everyone elses. I can coast at around 40 mph but as soon as I give it gas it bucks and jerks. Just wondering if a year later there was a more concrete solution.

Honestly dont see any correlation yet between engine/ambient temperatures. Happens on flat smooth road.

Im due for my 67500 maintenance in a few days so I will bring it up t the dealer..im considering having my computer reflashed to the newest firmware version.

If they cant fix it, ill dump in some of that dr shudder stuff and the atf protectant and deinitely report back.

Just upsets me, first I have to clean throttle bodies to fix rough idle, now im having strange drivetrain issues, and ive only had the car for two weeks!

Update

Well, I put a tube of that Dr. Tranny Shudder Fix in with the ATF along with some lubeguard atf protectant ( about 1/4 bottle). Seems to be a lot smoother, really havent felt the shudder ( maybe a tiny tiny tiny bit) Havent taken it to dealer yet but I probably wont even mention the issue unless it starts happening again this week.

Kind of regret putting entire bottle, especially with all the warnings about nissan atf fluid only, plus my car only has 67600 miles.... Hope it will be ok long term!

Update: After not driving the car for 2 days, I felt the shudder a bit this morning, not bad just noticeable. Will ask the dealer tomorrow if he knows whats up. Im tempted to believe its the ATF temperature sensor, considering the outdoor air temp is always wrong and my climate control inside is pretty inconsistent as well.

Shift gears
But seriously, are you saying it shutters while you're driving at a steady 40mph? What gear are you in?
I would suspect you more likely have an engine or other mechanical issue.
A couple of the more common things it could be; Dirty (varnished) throttle body or MAF sensor.
Do you hear any unusual sounds. Curious if you have a sticky brake or bad rotors.

Tell us a little more about you car. When the shutter began for you, model year, mileage, recent maintenance etc.

I've been wondering if these issues could be related to drive-shaft center support bearing issues. Has anybody who had these issues checked theirs?

It shutters when you try to smash on the pedal at any gear or rpm,and when the engine has warmed up.Also the shutter or bucking is intermitent.Ive installed two new maf sensors that was 700$,new plugs ,fuel pump..It kind of feels like a fuel or timing issue or maybe a vapor lock issue.I tried loosing up the gas cap,but no luck.Newer pads and rotors. The G is a sport sedan 07 now it currently has 86k on it.I ve had this issue ever since i bought it used with 80k on it,regular maintence with records of everything.
