just installed some GTSpec braces

There thread is worthless without pics I know, but I thought id let everyone know that I installed the GTSpec M brace and rear lower tie brace today.

all i can say is....WOW! What a difference! I HIGHLY recommend these two braces to anyone looking to tighten up the rear. Install was very easy and just to be safe, Im going in for an alignment tomorrow.

also installed my 6000k hid bulbs

^ nice to hear that you actually felt the difference i too want to tighten up the rear a bit but have got mixed answers on fitment. Does anyone know fro SURE if the M and rear lower tie brace will fit with the FI exhaust and 4WAS?

Because some time back somebody told me that m brace wont fit over FI exhaust and the lower tie wont fit with the 4WAS.... If i can be certain that it will fit i would love to grab these.

I got mine from B2...great guys to work with and fast shipping!

I cannot confirm fitment over FI exhaust and 4WAS. I thought they told me the rear lower tie would not work with 4WAS. The M brace does seem to have a lot of clearance. Check out Intgr8rs thread. He has aftermarket exhaust and cleared with M. GTSpec wouldnt even give me confirmation with my Tanabe axlebacks and AWD. They said maybe/doubtful, but it worked.

feels how a sport tuned sedan should feel. The rear is solid but not over stiff. Very minimal flex is at all around turns in the rear. Front still dives and rolls, but the rear has tightened up so much. its amazing. i dont know how else to describe it

Glad you like it.
Now you just need the 6pt frame brace.

& Yes it does clear the FI exhaust no problem.

^ the 6pt also makes HUGE difference.
It bridges the gap in the frame due to the location of the gas tank.
It creates a bridge support below the tank & connects to the same point as the M brace at the back.

and both can be connected together for better support, right? im going to order the M brace this weekend for sure can you post the link for the 6 point as well and if it falls within my monthly mod budget i would love to get it and install it together!

EDIT: just found it, is it the cross brace that replaces the stock brace under the exhaust along with support on the sides? the list price is $400 so not possible right now but i have pm'd a few vendors lets see how cheap i can get this.

Thought about it but the rear is just about rear I want it. The 6pt might be overkill for my car. Suspension for me is done...aside from maybe an OEM sport rear sway (if i can find a used one!)

Thanks for the feedback Brian, the braces are on my list of suspension mods as well. Happy to hear someone else pleased with the results.
