noob question - with coilovers, do you still need the camber kits that are required when installing springs?

That would be a yes. The G doesn't have a MacPherson struts so there are no camber plates.

you need camber kits when ever you lower the car to pull alignment back in to spec. the lower it goes the more camber it has. you dont need it but you will get alot of tire wear.

Well im dropped on Eibaach springs right now for about 10,000 miles and the tires that ive driven on didnt wear as near as much i thought they would. My rear camber is set to -2 degrees and front is about -1.70 degrees. I think camber won't wear your tires out as fast a toe would. I think since my toe is set to 0 they didnt wear like everyone told me they were going to. When i do get my coilovers i will invest in a rear camber kit and then eventually a front camber kit but for right now i think ill be fine. Plus i need to run negative camber anyway since in running 20x9 +25 all around

I'm not personally into the slammed look but these coilovers are on my want list.

Its not about the look, more about what these puppies would do compared to OEM body roll. Altho my x sticks like snot even with the stock A/S rubber, I bet these would be nice on a track with some summer rubber, and just crank 'em back up for the ride home and for DD'ing.... nice mix, wish I could spend the dough on stuff like this

Nice ride!

Hey scooby do you lower it and raise it yourself or do you get it done by someone else. How easy or hard is it to do. Can't wait to get mines

I wonder if these are the same Coils as the First gen sedans use.

Interesting thought - we need part numbers.
