V36 AWD Coilovers Finally Available - installed!
As for custom orders, we don't charge any additional fees for that now or have in the past. Based on what the custom order is, time frames can be upto 2 weeks for shipping. On this setup though a 10k>12k conversion there would be no delays. We are currently out of stock on these, but we are shipping direct to the customer from BC headquarters overseas. Shipping time frames are about 2 weeks from time of order or less.
I would not do a 10k in the rear.
I would only recommend a 10k rear if you had additional weight in the back. For example a sound sytem that added sufficient weight. Keep in mind for every 2k it takes 112lbs to compress 1 inch. Thats per corner. If your tracking thats a totally different scenario as well.
my winter beater wheels. going back and forth to NYC every month will do this to the rims .
BC is a Taiwanese company. They make coilovers for a variety of brands including Megan, Apexi, and Greddy. The coilovers sold by BC directly have newer features that the Megan product does not have like the conical seat height adjusting ring. IMO BC makes a great coilover for the price. I personally own Megans on my Evo. They are 3 years old and work great. The only issue I have had was a blown strut and pillowball from a pothole hit at 65 mph. I was able to order replacement parts from Megan directly and inexpensively. I'm pretty sure BC will provide the same customer service as well. Maybe Pete can chime in here.
well guys i got a PM back from B2autodesign and they said that they wont have a group buy for these but they have them on a special price. Im not going to post the price in here because im not allowed to but i can send a PM to anyone who would like to know it, or you can call them straight up to find out how these cost. let me tell you that these are very decently priced and i will be ordering mine within the next day or two just getting the money together for these.
Hey Pete@PC and all AWD owners,
I was reading someone's review of these for a 2nd gen RWD version and I am a little bit concerned....

"And here's the bad part. I looks like BC didn't do a test fit for rear of the O7+ Sedans. I barely have a half finger gap in the rear and my height adjustment is at it's maxium (can't get anymore out of it)."
Now wait a minute, if this is true this will result in a saggy butt look, which means that we have to drop the front some more to match the rear, and i'm not sure if I want such a low look. Also, if this is true, than it is a poorly designed product
What do you think?

07+ G35X BC Coilovers Review
I ordered my coilovers a few weeks back when I saw Scoobys post and finally got a chance to install them this past weekend. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Before I had coilovers I was running on H&R springs and was semi satisfied with the overall drop and feel of the car from stock. After a year and a half of riding on the springs, I could feel that the ride was becoming more harsh. I live in NYC (Queens) so I know what comfort is as well as rough and trust me when I say the roads in NYC are by far the roughest you'll ever come across aside from going off-roading.
After having the coilovers installed I could immediately feel the difference in the overall ride quality. It was smoother like OEM and less harsh over bumps but the handling was far superior to the springs. I had the dampening set to 15 all around as I didn't want a stiff ride but at the same time I didn't want a floaty feeling so setting it directly in the middle was perfect for me. I had a chance to test out the handling on some twisty roads in a secluded area (for safety). I was blown away by how well the car handled before I had a proper alignment (waiting on the springs to settle). It is truly a day and night difference from springs.
Here are some pictures of the lowest settings as well as the highest settings. If anyone has questions, feel free to ask.
Special Thanks to Pete over at BC for getting the coilovers to me in record time.
