Free rotation of front tire issue

I have noticed that my 2007 G35x front wheels do not seem to spin freely when the car is jacked up. I can spin them but need to apply about 10 to 15 pounds force and then they only move when 'pushed'. Both the right and the left wheel are the same and I have tried it with the car in neutral and the parking brake off. I don't think its a wheel bearing issue and it seems odd that both wheels have difficulty spinning (how likely is it that both brake calibers would become sticky at the same time). Is this normal, perhaps something to do with the AWD system?? If anyone can answer would appreciate it.

I am also wondering if anyone knows what the largest tire size is that can be placed on a G35x sedan without modification (radius, width and aspect) I would like to put on some wide 19 inchers. Thanks.

It's normal due to the AWD. Be concerned if they spin freely.

There's numerous threads on wheels and tires. You need to concerned with more than tire size. It's the rim width and offset that are also important.

Thanks. I was reading the string of e-mails on the rally this weekend and I may attend (I'm 5 minutes from the AMC theatres and no plans for this Saturday) - just need to check with the better half. One question, and I'm sure you have heard it 100 times - Why do you post the picture of the BMW and not your G? - it is a G site afterall and you are on staff. Nothing against the Bimmer it is a nice car as well. Cheers. Chris.

Thanks RBull, I figured it was nothing. I know where to ask in the future. Cheers.
