Stillen... Wow, really sounds good for a Stillen. Doesn't sounds anything like the other Stillen exhuasts I've heard on our cars. You still running the stock cats?

Quote: The squeaks went away for a while after I told the mechanic to redo the preload... but it comes back when I drive over uneven road at high speeds -.-''

the exhaust im running is the stillen catback =)
BC sent me the replacement rear struts last week and just installed them today. NO MORE SQUEAKS!!! Hit up Mark or Tim and they'll take care of you. Also, they let me keep the struts that squeaked. So, if/when the replacement struts go out, I still have the old ones to use....just gonna have to deal with the squeaks.

i might make a new thread, probably not. wanted to post on here since this thread had a lot to do with the coils i went with

Just recieved my BC BR Coilovers

Front- 220mm 12k
Rear- 230mm 10k

I was informed by Tim over at BC that these specs are the new standards for the V-02 coils which are the ones for all 2nd gen sedans and the g37's.

I would have personally chosen an 8k spring for the rear.

I find that my rear setup is already stiff with an 8k (try going over a speed bump and compare the overall "stiffness" of the front versus the rear), so I can't imagine what a 10k would be like.

im guessing i can always set it to very soft if its too stiff? i was a little woried about the 10k in the rear too, well see how it goes.

So I need a little help in finding out which length spring BC gave me. For those of you with the 230mm 10k rear springs can you do me a favor. If you have them raised up to the maximum height can you measure from the ground the the start of your fender wall and from the center of your rim to the start of the fender wall? My measurements were ~26.5" and ~14.5" respectively. Thanks in advance.

you dont need to measure anything to find out which spring they gave you. theres a series of numbers on the spring itself in white letters, what are those numbers? that will tell you the spring length and spring rate.

Can you see this lettering without having to take off your tires? I am stuck at some relatives place for a while and don't have any access to any car tools.
